Card; Christmas card; undated; from the Engh family; titled "Engh's Merry Xmas Story". Story features stick figure cartoons that represent family members. Story reads: "We all, wish you all, a Very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Harold, Helen, and Dot are at Sycamore/ Merry Oaks and Harold commutes to Pyle. Dot is a sophomore in Sycamore High School while Helen keeps the house/farm going. Dick, Jean, Wendy, and Laurie have a new farm/ house in Spokane where Dick is in the insurance business. Wendy is a second grader and Laurie is in Kindergarten. Crosswell, Bobbie, Billy, Mimi, and Douglas are still at Santa Ana, and Crosswell is bulding factories and stores. Billy started Kindergarten this fall, and Mimi and Douglas miss him. Harold Jr. and Ginger have an apartment in Evanston, and Harold Jr. is working at Pyle." Located in "Engh Family Cards" folder |
