Box, made of oak containing four drawers.The box was made later and drawers are not the original drawers. The message drawers, made of metal were used in the second DeKalb County Courthouse, 1850-1903. The drawers read "Grand Jury Certificates; Election; Sheriffs Box and Petit Jury Certificates."

Mr. Tom Hulseberg was a friend and helped Mr. Sarbon with his campaign. Mr. Sarbon ran against Mayor Harold Johnson as the mayor should not run unopposed.
