Tube, metal used for mailing correspondence crossing the Equator. It has stamps for 60 cents and was approved by an Army Examiner. Mailed February,1944 to Mrs. William Eddy, Sycamore, Ill. from CPL. William B. Eddy, San Francisco, CA. Tube had been painted black, with paper mailing address wrapped around tube but there is no lid to the container.
