Turner Brass, Sycamore, Illinois, Stove green metal body, for camping stove has an early 3/4" diameter coupling to the propane cylinder. Label on front reads " Turner Model LP-100, Liquefied LP Petroleum, The Turner Brass Works, Sycamore, Illinois." Turner Brass thought they could set the standard for cylinders in the early 1950's, but recalled as many appliances and cylinders as they could a year later and replaced them with the 7/8" diameter that did become the standard. |
