Model depicts Ben Franklin in period clothing, note holes in the socks. Mr. Franklin was a founding father of the United States of America. He was a writer, philosopher, politician, first postmaster, scientist, inventor, statesman and inventor. Mr. Franklin was born in 1705 and died April 17, 1790. Used in Dolls for Democracy program.
