A small brown bottle with a cork top and directions stating "Saturate a little cotton and apply to the hollow of the tooth". Model depicts Dr. Jonas Salk in period clothing, note hole in right shoe. Dr. Salk was an American physician and medical researcher. Dr. Salk developed the first safe and effective vaccine for polio. Dr. Salk was born Octoer 28, 1914 and died June 23, 1995. Used in the Dolls for Democracy program. Donated by Congregation Beth Shalom, DeKalb, Illinois.
