Bottle "Magic Toothache Drops" sold by Briggs, Nelson and Oleson Pharmacists, (circa 1894-1899), Sycamore, Illinois. A small brown bottle with a cork top and directions stating "Saturate a little cotton and apply to the hollow of the tooth". The drug and grocery business started in 1894, being purchased from Everett Palmer and Ott Holcomb. In 1899, Thomas Nelson retired from business, the name changing to Briggs and Oleson until 1901. At that time, Harry Whittemore and J.E. Harrington succeeded George Briggs in the business joining Bernhard Oleson, who retired in 1931. |
