Description |
Fountain, white porcelain, originally located in downtown Sycamore, Illinois. A blue embedded stamp reads "Maddens Patent James B. & Sons, Chicago, New York, Havana, Adamantose Ware" and a possible trademark "Clow". This fountain was located at State and California Streets, near the Fargo Hotel, Sycamore, Illinois and was one of two located in the Sycamore business district. The second fountain was located at State and Maple Streets at the DeKalb County Courthouse corner. Both fountains were installed by the Sycamore Lions Club in May, 1957. |
