Bayonet, Military This is a Krag rifle bayonet manufactured by Springfield Armory in 1901. It was used by the United States troops during the Spanish-American and Philippine-American wars. It is 16" long overall, with an 11 ½ " blade. The handle has an opening for attaching it to a rifle or gun. The Springfield Armory was located in Springfield, Massachusetts from 1777 until its closing in 1968. They were primarily known for the manufacturing of U.S. military firearms. |
